Yes! There are no fees to join, network or read posted content / articles. However, we do sometimes list reputable publications and education providers that may interest you in the furtherance of your own professional career. If they charge for membership or material fees, we are not involved. Additionally, they are not paying us for advertising or a referral fee. They are simply recognized in the industry.
* How can this group be free?
CNLI is managed by licensed volunteer professionals with over 100 years of industry experience. This group of professionals have held leadership positions with several professional organizations, and understand cost versus value, therefore, they are utilizing free online services such as Google Groups, WIX Free Web-builder & Hosting, Facebook and other forms of free social media to create a free quality product. The only cost to the CNLI volunteers is our time.
* Is my information shared or sold?
No! Additionally, we are not selling advertising space, so you will not be barraged with unsolicited ads.

What are the codes that govern the covert usage of a GPS device on a vehicle?
California Penal Code, section:
637.7(a) “No person or entity in this state shall use an electronic tracking device to determine the location or movement of a person.”
637.7(d) “As used in this section, "electronic tracking device" means any device attached to a vehicle or other movable thing that reveals its location or movement by the transmission of electronic signals.”
637.7(b) “This section shall not apply when the registered owner, lessor, or lessee of a vehicle has consented to the use of the electronic tracking device with respect to that vehicle.”
